Well I couldn't sleep worth beans last night. It's going to be a long day today. What did I do when I should have been sleeping? Clean, organize, read, work on crafts? No, no, no, and no. I wrote blogs in my head. How messed up am I? Please don't answer that! After all that "writting" you think I would have some really witty blog for today, nope, but I am going to give a step by step recipe for my photo that I took for Monica's Before and After Blog Hop.
Here's my before:
Taken on my sister-in-law's Nikon D60. 1/1600 sec at f/ 1.8 , 35mm and 200 ISO
After using my Bright and Beautiful preset I gave you here, from Lightroom 3. I also tweaked the blues, aquas, sharpened just a little and lessened the vignette just a touch.
Then simply because it was my last day with a trial of Photoshop Elements 9 I added a texture, just for fun. Here's my final product.
What do you think? I think I need some coffee.
Enjoy looking at all of the other lovely photos in the blog hop!
Oh and if you want to see more of this darling and her super duper cute friend, check this out!

I like it! I love your bright pictures!
As I already told you on FB- I LOVE it!!!! Beth needs to print this one up BIG!
The texture really added a nice touch. It tones down the brightness and makes it "just enough" pop.
So are you going to buy PSE 9?
