Monica at
Pixel Perfect is having another before and after blog hop. Head on over to her site and see all the other photos and the different ways that everyone edits theirs!
Before...
After...
These are two of my younger sisters, Brittany and Kirstie. I think they are beautiful! I used Lightroom 2.6 and Gimp 2.6. Don't ask what I did...because I have no idea! I just kept moving things around till I liked it. :-)

I love the edit! All these photos from this photo shoot you did are great!
Of course, everyone can see the other photos from this excellent photo shoot if they look at a past blog post....or, go to Lindsay Hayes Photography Fan page on Faceobok. :-)
you did a great job! I love how you edited that picture!
Thanks Heather! :-)
You have a beautiful blog! Great pics too! I'm going to be a new follower right after I send this comment! Nice to meet you :-)
Great shot! I have to laugh...when I came to your blog I thought I clicked on mine by accident b/c I have the same template. :)
Love this edit! I love the way the colors pop-especially the eyes. Great job!
I love it!
I often have no idea what I have done with a photo because I, too, just keep pressing buttons and trying different things! I can't ever seem to pull off the same thing twice :-)
BTW, I love the picture in your header! The colors are beautiful against the white snow!
Great edit! I love that you added some light to the faces and a lovely color pop!
GREAT edit! I'm so glad I'm not the only one that uses free software! Seriously, GREAT edit!
I think that is a beautiful edit. I love the color saturation and brightness you added. It really made the photo stand out much more! Great edit!
I love your use of color!! Beautiful. Hey...I noticed your comment on my blog...guess what. You can use textures with Gimp. Gimp was actually what I learned on. Just create another layer...and use any texture you like and then change the blending mode/opacity of that texture layer. It's just that easy. Then if you want to paint some of the texture out just add a layer mask and paint with a soft, low opacity black brush on that layer mask. Very simple! Gimp is actually a very powerful program!! Just thought I'd let you know!! ;)
This looks great! I love the color and the shot!
so pretty!!! i love the color!
SISTERS must be great! Wish I had some!
