Before I got to the point of this post I have to ask a question. Does anyone else have a hard time coming up with titles for their posts? It is so hard for me to think of something and most of the time I think that what I do come up with is silly. Please tell me I am not the only one. Please. :)
Ok, now on to my post.
Beautiful night for sunset watching and fireworks, wouldn't you agree?!
Wesley watched the sun set on top of Uncle Mike's shoulders.
And saw sky divers land in the field right in front of us. This guy had an American flag on his parachute.
Then when it was very dark there were fireworks.
They did not start till 10pm and by then Felicity had lost her desire to watch so when they announced that we still had another 15 minutes to wait we walked back to the car and watched from there.
I was a little disappointed watching from the car but getting out without any traffic was nice.
I don't ever want to be too old to enough fireworks! I heard people say that "I've seen fireworks before" and then not go watch them yesterday. I hope that never happens. I love them. They make me very happy.
Wesley really liked them as well. He was sound to sleep on his bag of popcorn within minutes of leaving.

I love fireworks too! They remind me of the excitement of being a kid. Love the colors in your photos and I especially love Wes' popcorn pillow ;)
Yes..I actually don't give much thought to my post titles. Maybe I should! ha ha
I hear ya on the fireworks. We go every year with the kids. Every year...we think...should we do it?? With the crowds and people and how late it all goes down. But everytime we do...we are so glad. The kids love every single minute of it and there is just something abou them!!
