Before and After

Monica over at the Pixel Perfect Blog has a great blog hop every Thursday.  I have seriously been photographically inspired by many of the ladies who hop along every week.  Feel like being inspired yourself?  If so join in the fun by clicking on the button or just look at all the amazing work and photos.

Felicity was eating her breakfast outside when I took this photograph.  I just love the look on her little face. Makes me just want to kiss her!

Before:  Taken on my Nikon D3000 with my 18-55 kit lens.

After I edited in Lightroom 3.  I enhanced her eyes and then made it black and white.  Now that I see it on here I am thinking I might have gone a little over board with her eyes.

I can't wait to see what wonderful things everyone else comes up with this week!

Great job! I love the black and white better than the original. Her little expression is great :)

eye work is something that I always stuggle with. There is such a fine line for me. My image that I used for the blog hop was my second as my first was a little too heavy on the eye sharpening brightening! Love the black and white conversion of this image. :O) Thanks for your comments today!

It is easy to go overboard with the eyes but I think you stopped at just the right point. Her eyes are stunning!

I love this shot in B&W, you did great on the conversion. it's beautiful. I do love the way you made her eyes stand out, I'd only scale the eye brighten layer back maybe 20% and it would be perfect!
