Something different

I am usually all about bright colors or high contrast black and white when I edit photos.  They  just make me so happy.  My friend Heather loves antique.  I enjoy looking at antique photos but whenever I get the opportunity to edit I go straight for the color!  Give me bright happy colors!  That's just the way I am.  Today however, I felt like something different.  I can't lie I thought of Heather when editing these "bet this will make her smile", yep, I like to make people smile as much as I like color.  But I also just felt these photos would look awesome old.

Matt's father gave me this box.  I have no idea what it was used for but I love it!  It's old, dirty, falling apart, and wonderful.  Thanks Johnny.

Felicity was not in the mood for photos today.  Kinda grumpy.

Baby feet are adorable no matter how they are edited.  Don't you agree?!

I absolutely LOVE her outfit.  It is a hand-me-down from a friend.  I can't thank everyone enough for all the adorable clothes.  Do you remember this one Brittany?

This one of my favorites from today.

I told you the box was old but those little fingers are so sweet.  I could just kiss them all day long.

She got a little too fussy so Wes ran and got her her teddy.  "Dis'll make her happy"  He's a good big brother.

Oh, I think  it's somebody's nap time.

Definitely  nap time!

So what do you think?  I don't have a lot of practice with antiquing my photos so any suggestions are welcome.

I think they are lovely! I especially like the last one - the blades of grass are awesome.
